We (finally) speak Swedish
October saw Ad-Aware reach another milestone in its history with the launch of Ad-Aware in Swedish!
It has long confused people that a company based in Sweden has a flagship product which doesn’t speak the company’s native tongue, but the truth be known, many in the Lavasoft family do not speak Swedish either! As a truly global company, we have around 15 nationalities represented in our headquarters, based in Gothenburg, so English has always been the company language.
As opportunities have arisen globally, translating into different languages has become increasingly important. Recently, opportunities have appeared within the Swedish marketplace, making it the perfect time to teach Ad-Aware a new language.
