There's been a recent buzz about all of the online scams gearing up to make profits off of the holiday shopping season.
Since today is the "Black Friday" of the online shopping world, the unofficial start of the online holiday shopping season, we thought we'd take the opportunity to make sure to raise your security awareness before you take out your credit card.
Web sales were reportedly down last week on Black Friday, yet a few major retailers, like Amazon and Walmart, had some difficulties with too much traffic flooding their sites.
So, what will we have in store for us today? Deemed Cyber Monday, we shoppers are reported to be kicking off our online shopping spree in full force. While today isn't marked to be the most frenzied of online shopping days, it's the start of the shopping season, meaning online fraudsters are going to be unleashing their tricks.
