DefendAPc is the latest clone of the WiniGuard rogue antispyware family.

DefendAPc will drop several false infections on the system. These infections will then be found during scan and the user is urged to license the software to be able to remove them.

Ad-Aware will detect DefendAPc as Win32.FraudTool.DefendAPc and Win32.FraudTool.WiniGuard.
