The creators of the WiniGuard series have not been active for a few days, but today another one of their clones emerged, AntiTroy.

Like previous clones, it will drop several fake infection files and then detect them. The user will be asked to license the product before the fake infections can be removed.

Ad-Aware detects AntiTroy as Win32.FraudTool.AntiTroy and Win32.FraudTool.Winiguard.
