The new version of our Lavasoft Personal Firewall software, which was released in the end of March, was recently reviewed by PC World. From the review:

It's springtime and that means it's the proverbial time to tackle the grime that's built up in our homes over the past months. Ad-Aware continues to travel the world and has now picked up enough of Dutch and Italian to be able to communicate with its users in these languages! They are both included in the latest software update.
In other news, Ad-Aware's traveling partner - the Lavasoft Website - now also speaks Nederlands and Italiano so be sure to check them out through the language selector at the top of the page.
CHIP Online, one of Europes leading computer sites, collects what they see as "the best tools and updates" among downloads on their site - known as their "Download of the Day" tool gallery. We've just heard from CHIP Online that our Ad-Aware 2007 Free software was chosen as a Download of the Day during the month of April.

For a non-technical user, configuring a firewall can sometimes be a daunting task. The usual solution employed by firewall vendors is to try to automate as much as possible. This works well for the majority of the time but some decisions still require user involvement and judgement.
