You may have seen our blog post last week giving you a look at the new Ad-Aware Game Edition, the spin-off of Ad-Aware that provides protection to gamers as they play.

Did you know that we also have a video tutorial available on the latest version of Ad-Aware? Have a look below to get a good, brief overview of Ad-Aware Internet Security.

It’s an exciting day for us here at Lavasoft. And, we think it will be for gamers around the world once they get wind of this news: Lavasoft has just launched a new version of our flagship security software – a spin-off of Ad-Aware that’s aimed specifically at online gamers and entertainment fans, providing protection as you play.

October saw Ad-Aware reach another milestone in its history with the launch of Ad-Aware in Swedish!

It has long confused people that a company based in Sweden has a flagship product which doesn’t speak the company’s native tongue, but the truth be known, many in the Lavasoft family do not speak Swedish either! As a truly global company, we have around 15 nationalities represented in our headquarters, based in Gothenburg, so English has always been the company language.

Since its public release on October 22, there’s been quite a bit of talk on Windows 7, and whether or not you should upgrade now to the new operating system. And, you’ve more than likely had your fill on news on this for the time being. We have, though, received some questions in from users on our Ad-Aware software’s compatibility, so we’d like to take a moment to address this, and let you know that - yes - here at Lavasoft, we’re ready!

The wait is over: the new version of Ad-Aware is now available!

You’ve heard by now that the new 2010 version of Ad-Aware will soon be hitting the market. Thanks to all our users around the world waiting patiently for more news on our upcoming Ad-Aware release. The public launch date will be … October 13, 2009! So, stay tuned next Tuesday, when you’ll see first-hand the power-packed improvements to our anti-malware technology, new easy-to-use features, fresh community initiatives, and more!

Are you satisfied with your Ad-Aware software? Help us to get the word out! Windows IT Pro and SQL Server Magazine have kicked off the 2009 Community Choice Awards, allowing YOU to decide which products and services get chosen to be recognized in each of their IT product award categories. Lavasoft's Ad-Aware is up for the vote in the following categories:

  • Best Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware Product
  • Best Security Product
  • Best Free or Open Source IT Tool
  • Best Vendor Tech Support

As you know, here at Lavasoft, we’re gearing up for the release of the new and improved version of Ad-Aware. While our original public launch date of August 25 has been slightly delayed, we’re still pushing to deliver the all-new version – with its advanced anti-malware technology, easy-to-use features, and new community-based initiatives – to you as soon as possible.

Voting has kicked off in Lavasoft’s first ever Skin Design Contest. Vote now for your favorite skin to help choose the final design that will be featured in the release of the new version of Ad-Aware!

We’ve been updating you from time to time with bits of news about our upcoming new version of Ad-Aware. Now that the Ad-Aware launch is only weeks away, we would like to take a minute to make sure that you’re all aware of the upcoming launch and the added security it will bring.

We have another update for all of you beta testers and users alike who are interested in learning more about how to get involved in our new community-driven initiatives that go hand in hand with the upcoming Ad-Aware release –
